THE FILM-

This is another of Yash Chopra’s youth based college romance and a love triangle.This is a feel-good film with good music,good locales,great costumes and good direction.Nothing new in the script.There is only a slight friendship angle to this love triangle which is all that is new in this film.On the whole,a decent entertainer like the usual Yash Chopra films.Kareena is the only bright spot of the movie who looks fresh and new in her great costumes designed by Manish Malhotra.Her acting is also applaudable and so is her dancing.Kareena is going in leaps and bounds ahead with each film of hers and even if this film does not do very well,it will take her much ahead.The other co-stars are just about ok.Hrithik does the same repititive histrionics and dance-steps and Rani looks very old and too grim.The music also has nothing new in it but has some good songs.This movie was an above average on the box office.
