THE FILM-

This is one more film from the hit team of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai.And Kareena’s character is also similar to that of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,that of an NRI and that too with the name Puja. But the storyline of this film is entirely different from that of their earlier film.It is about two childhood lovers,Pinky or Puja(Kareena) and Karan(Tusshar) who get separated in childhood and then Kareena comes back from abroad after completing her studies in Oxford University in search of her childhood love Karan who is then incidentally in the same city where Puja is.On the other hand,Karan is patiently waiting to find his long lost love Puja, thinking and dreaming of her every moment. How these two lovers manage to find their love fighting against all the obstacles in their path placed by fate at every step including the opposition of Puja’s father.A nice, entertaining movie with superb music, good locales and good story.Though the last part of the movie is a bit of a let down,on the whole the movie is a very good one. This movie has been inspired by one of the oldies,Anmol Ghadi.Kareena looks very gorgeous, but she has given a very subdued and dignified performance unlike her earlier ‘Poo’ish type of roles.Tusshar looks really good, dances well and acts very naturally and spontaneously. His dances and expressions in the songs Pyaar Maange,Tu Hai Sola Satra and Kaash ke Tujhse are worth checking out for.Kareena on the other hand, lights up the screen each moment she is there. This film was a hit at the box-office but gradually collections dropped due to the festive season of Ramzan and Diwali.
